Digital TV Antenna for RV's
Not sure if this is the correct forum...but here goes.
Are there any antennas available for RV's that are digital ready? In Feb 2009, my "batwing" antenna will be useless without a converter. However, we mostly stay at campgrounds without hookups and I don't want to run the generator just to watch an occasional TV show. I plan to purchase and AC/DC LCD TV/DVD that is digital ready, but need to upgrade my antenna. Please do not suggest a satellite system...we aren't that desperate!
Generators
I currently have a Generac 3500 portable generator that is annoying to run but works well when we need to use the A/C. I have looked at the Honda EU2000 and like the low db levels. Of course, I would need to purchase 2 @ about $1000ea plus the parallel adapter to run the A/C. The big advantage is that I would have a single small unit to use for battery charging, microwave etc when camped at the beach and A/C is not needed. Does anyone know (hopefully someone who owns one) how well the Honda EU3000 performs when using A/C? It too runs at a low db level and may suit my needs/wishes if it performs as required.
